McLarens, the global loss adjuster with a niche focus on commercial claims, has entered into an alliance with Global Risk Solutions (GRS), a US-based adjuster specialising in environmental claims, to facilitate the provision of environmental loss adjusting on a worldwide basis. The alliance falls in line with McLarens’ long term strategy of expansion into niche markets across the globe and follows on from its merger with UK-based, specialist agricultural adjuster, Agrical, earlier this year.
GRS, based in Miami USA, specialises in the management, mitigation, evaluation and reporting of large and complex liability losses, with experience in man-made, natural, terrorist or other claims-causing events including oil spills, pipeline ruptures, chemical explosions, severe storms, earthquakes, floods, and fires impacting the oil, gas or petro-chemical industries. GRS will access McLarens’ global network of experienced and skilled loss adjusters to support clients for claims management and adjusting of manmade and natural environmental/CAT events outside of the United States. McLarens delivers global claims services, with a focus on commercial claims, through its network of offices in the Americas, Europe, Middle East, Asia, Africa, and Australasia.
Vern Chalfant, President and CEO, McLarens, commented: “Our strategy continues to be centered on growth in key, niche markets across the globe. GRS offers an area of expertise that adds to ours. We add access to a global network of adjusters in the alliance. This is a good move for both parties and we look forward to working alongside the GRS team.”
A. Kip Radigan, President and CEO, GRS, commented: “We are excited to take this significant step forward in the implementation of our global client services strategy. The agreement with McLarens’ global network provides us with another avenue for growth which will expand our effectiveness in continuing to provide People, Processes and Technology-based solutions.”
